Rick - Bass and Vocals
Rick Rempes Rick has been playing music since he was seven, starting on piano, accordian and trombone. In high school, he picked up guitar and bass, and kept busy in numerous bands in the Detroit area, including a drum and bugle corps, and a "Chicago" tribute band..

He attended Central Michigan University as a trombone music major, playing bass in local bands on weekends. As a US Army civilian, he has worked at various assignments in the US, England and Germany, finding local bands to work with wherever he was stationed.

Born in Dayton, Rick has been back now for seven years and has played bass, guitar, keyboards and even drums with a variety of local bands, most notably "The Linden Davis Group".

He now is keeping busy with occasional sound system rentals, recording sessions, and wielding his trusty 6 string Hohner bass or doubleneck Steinberger with CopyCat, reproducing a collection of some of the finest tunes ever written.

Jack - Drums and Vocals
Jack Reaster:

I am an old "Rock & Roll" guy from the late sixties early seventies era. I love all types of music (except Hip Hop... it's not music) and am always listening for new techniques. I do prefer the older music because there just seemed to be more actual melody, harmony and meaning than most modern music. There are however, some great modern musicians which I love an I can occasionally be caught playing it. (Don't tell anyone)

Some of my greatest drumming influences came from guys like Mitch Mitchell, (The Jimi Hendrix Experience) Don Brewer, (Grand Funk Railroad) Ian Paice, (Deep Purple) and Bill Bruford (Yes). These days the Copy Cat project has brought back a lot of memories and enjoyment for the stuff I thought I had forgotten. I hope it will do the same for you.
